The Farm Shop

The Basil & Baylys Farm Shop is located at 35 Main Rd, Owaka and is open 24hrs a day 365 days a year.

We sell vegetable seedling, herb and flowers plants all year round at affordable prices and fresh seasonal, organically grown veg from about October to July, keep an eye out through summer for our amazing fresh heritage tomatoes! 

Our passion at Basil & Baylys is growing heritage tomato’s the uglier and tastier the better! We’re not a market garden but a boutique grower so what we sell at our shop is the excess fruit and veg that we grow in our large garden. 

The shop is unmanned and run with an honesty payment system, cash in the box or you can do a bank deposit, we have been very pleased with how well this has worked for us so far, it is extremely disheartening when we have thefts.
