A striking small round tomato with deep purple, almost black colouration where exposed to the sun.
They have a mild flavour with a hint of sweetness and higher acidity level, tender with the classic fresh/sour tomato aftertaste.
Looks and tastes fantastic in a salad.
The dark black skin is due to high levels of anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants - the more exposure to sun the darker the skin will become, the flesh inside is a rich red and very juicy.
Strong disease resistance.
Originally developed at Oregon State University by crossing wild and cultivated tomato varieties.
